With its 50,000 hectares, it is the largest protected area in the country outside the mountains. Malingsbo-Kloten is a large scenic coniferous forest area in highland and hilly terrain, with interspersed marsh areas, lakes and watercourses that offer good opportunities for fishing and outdoor life. The area is divided by three counties; Västmanland, Dalarna and Örebro. The easiest way to get here is via road 233 between Skinnskatteberg and Kopparberg.
Here we offer fishing for mainly pike and perch, but also for whitefish. Some "blue waters" to mention are Stora Korslången, Långvattnet and Malingsbosjön which are known for their large pike.
In the "yellow waters", we offer intimate fly fishing for trout in, above all, Hedströmmen's upper source flows. This only applies to the "catch and release principle" (C&R), ie that all fish are released again. These highly interesting natural waters are valuable for all anglers who do not put the catch in terms of number of fish and kilos primarily on the wish list.
NOTE! Fishing ban 1 / 10-31 / 12 in all flowing waters in Malingsbo - Kloten
Report your catch here on iFiske's catch reporting page. With information about how you experience the fishing and the fish that are caught. Our ambition and hope is that you as a guest will continue to enjoy your fishing in our waters and come back. Please write which waters you caught your fish in.
NOTE! Everyone who reports their fish is in the draw for an annual pass to Naturvatten Malingsbo-Kloten!
